Northern Chinese barbecue is charcoal craft: lamb skewers ordered by the handful, leeks, green beans and eggplant laid straight on the grate, with Szechuan favourites from the kitchen alongside. The menu runs bilingual from end to end — Chinese for the homesick, English for the neighbours; one menu, both tables welcome.
